Chief Executive Director - Ex-Officio
Peggy C. Hadley - It was all Peg's idea and, for all but one of Showcase's first fifteen years, she has been the Chief Executive Director. John took over for her for a time while she took care of a family member during their terminal illness. During that time, Peg still managed to do a lot of the things required to keep things going. Peg claims she's finally retired for good but that remains to be seen. We know she'll be there when she's needed.
Chief Executive Director
John E. Thompson - A former Dance Director of Cadence Cloggers, John no longer performs with any group due to a non-clogging related knee injury. He has managed to get his knee in good enough shape to teach some youth classes in the San Antonio area and occasionally at the Texas Clogging Rally. He has missed only one of the Texas Clogging Rallies. The Air Force needed(?) him in Alaska for a Year. He says, "I was warmer in Alaska that February than folks were at the Rally in Euless!"
Executive Director
Robert M. (Buster) Green - Known to friends, both clogging and non-clogging, as "Buster". Buster is a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel, married to Nieci (better half). They have three children and five grandchildren with another on the way. Buster runs the Service Department for TexLink Communications in San Antonio.
First Vice President
Amy White - Amy White is originally from Arkansas and currently a Professor of Counseling at San Antonio College where she has been employed for many years. She was a member of the Faculty Senate for nine years. In addition to counseling duties, she teaches student success courses and received a national NISOD teacher of the year award for the 1997-98 school year. Licensed by the state of Texas as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), she is also certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. In order to keep these licensures current, she attends evening courses and seminars. She belongs to several educator and counselor organizations, is a Test Administrator for a local/national organization where she periodically gives tests for membership, and a member of the Eastern Star. Amy enjoys a variety of leisure activities and hobbies, but her favorite is clogging.
Second Vice President
Jean Moffett - We used to say "Jean's into drugs." Actually, Jean's a retired registered nurse who, along with her husband, had a medical equipment company/pharmacy in Fredericksburg for many years. Jean saw a flyer in 1986 about clogging and the rest, as they say, is history. Jean says she found the early lessons difficult (must have been the instructor) but you'd never know it by watching her perform. Jean also serves as the current Insurance Director
Third Vice President
Steven Potter - In the fall of 1981, while taking Square Dance lessons some members from Cadence Cloggers also taking Square Dance lessons asked Steven to come join Cadence. So he took Clogging lessons in 1982, joined the club and enjoys clogging and being a part of the behind the scenes crew of the Showcase. Steven joined the San Antonio Fire Department in 1986 and since he is a fire fighter/EMT basic it was logical to have him be in charge of trying to keep the dancers cool and take care of heat stress and other health problems that might arise.
Fourth Vice President
Rosemary Thompson - Rosemary is also a former director of Cadence and graduate of the second class held by cadence in 1977. Rosemary is the only TCC member to have attended all Texas Cloggers' Rallies. Rosemary took over Cadence while John was in Alaska. She recently retired from teaching so John says "she has no class."

Larry Seitzer - Larry is a San Antonio businessman who has recently retired due to a stroke he suffered in 2002. Larry has regained all but his "Sea Legs" and wants to help in anyway that he can. We're glad to have him aboard.

Volunteer Administrator
Frances Metts - Frances and husband Earl are past presidents of the Alamo Area Square and Round Dance Association. They are also Insurance Directors for the Texas State Federation of Square and Round Dancers. Don't know where they find the time to perform all their tasks but we're not gonna "rock the boat" as long as Frances is aboard.

Newt Weeks - Newt is currently the President of the Texas Clogging Council. He has been, and continues to be, a valued advisor to and supporter of the Cloggers' Showcase. |
