We affectionately talk about our Showcase venue as A River Runs Through It!  One of the most unique settings for dance that we know of.  It's called the Arneson River Theater.  We've had people ask us about the missing San Antonio River, but it IS on the San Antonio River.  It's a theater on the San Antonio river designed by a guy name Arneson. 

Below is a picture of the seating at Arneson.  What appears to be planter boxes on the right are actually the reserved seating areas.  There you are afforded an actual chair to sit in and enjoy the show.

The walkway you see in the lower-left corner of both pictures is a portion of the San Antonio Riverwalk.  Boats from Rio San Antonio Cruises pass by with diners or sightseers.   Seating is mostly on grass steps located across the river from the stage.

NOTE: Although we DO dance at the theater each May, we ARE NOT involved in, nor responsible for, any other events held at the Arneson River Theater at any other time during the year.  Please contact the San Antonio Parks and Recreation at (210) 207-8610 if you wish information about renting or performing at the Arneson.
