Latest Showcase News

The San Antonio Cloggers' Showcase is responsible for bringing 22 groups to San Antonio each year. That means that we host around 400 cloggers and their families each year. Like any good host, we were concerned for our guests' safety, health, and welfare. Events in the San Antonio area caused us great concern as to our ability to "take care of our family." While we were certain that everything possible WAS being done to keep San Antonio residents and visitors safe, we could not take a chance of exposing any of our "family" to the situation.

We know that hours of preparation and planning went into this year's event. Many groups run year-round fundraisers to pay for their trip. Fortunately, no one was out any non-reimbursable expense.

We decided that it was better to err on the side of safety and cancelled the 2009 Showcase.

Many thanks to all the groups, their directors, our volunteers, and our local businesses who donate each year. Without you, Showcase would not be possible.

As we say in San Antonio Texas, vaya con dios and we look forward to seeing you at our 22^nd Showcase, May 7^th and 8^th, 2010.
